  • Physical and energetic properties
  • Storage problems and aggregate states
  • Economic aspects
  • Circular economy
  • Costs and efficiencies
  • Hydrogen production and color coding
  • Electrolysis technologies
  • Transport and storage
  • Fuel cells and hydrogen combustion
  • Safety-related properties
  • Diffusion & leakage
  • Hydrogen embrittlement
  • Combustion, ignition and explosion limits
  • Hazard statistics of hydrogen liquid and gaseous

Courses  2 and 3

PLANNING AND PROCUREMENT WITH GASEOUS AND LIQUID HYDROGEN

If you would like to design or procure systems and have already dealt fundamentally with hydrogen, this module is essential for taking your company to the next level as quickly as possible without safety concerns.

Goal: Learn how to handle hydrogen components during planning, conception and design as well as ordering and delivery and how to handle these steps correctly.

  • Media-specific risks
    • Embrittlement & Leaks
    • Flow heating
    • Boil-off/venting
  • Local risks
    • Ex protection
    • Safety radii
  • Active and passive security measures
  • Standards and guidelines

FACILITIES OPERATION

After successful planning and procurement of systems commissioning phase starts and operation afterwards. Here we support your company with numerous learnings based on decades of experience from experts. Qualify your staff through “Learning By Doing” at our globally unique training facilities for gaseous and liquid hydrogen.

Goal: “Prevention is better than aftercare.” – Our experts will train you on how to handle H2 systems.

  • TÜV approval before commissioning
  • Acceptance with inert media
  • Functional acceptance with operating media
  • CE certification
  • Processes and procedures
  • Maintenance and repair with example procedures and templates
  • Conditioning and flushing processes with examples and templates
  • Component and valve replacement for repair and maintenance
  • Flushing and conditioning processes
  • Millipore Test (MPT), ultrasonic cleaning, pickling
  • Sealing techniques and leak detection
  • Basics of vacuum technology
  • Carrying out boroscopic inspections
  • Working according to procedures
